FAQ

What is a charity coin?+

A pump.fun coin whose creator fees are shared with a real organization. At least half of those fees go to the cause, and the split is visible onchain to anyone trading it.

Who receives the fees?+

The charity share goes to the Charitable fee wallet and is forwarded to the organization once a day. The creator share goes straight to the creator's wallet. Charitable takes no cut.

What if an organization has no crypto wallet?+

Its share is held and shown publicly on its page. As soon as the organization claims its page and adds a Solana address, everything held is paid out and future payouts go there directly.

Can the creator change the split later?+

No. After launch, control of the coin's fee-sharing settings moves to Charitable, so the split can't be quietly changed.

Why do I get a private key?+

We create a fresh wallet for each launch. You send your dev buy there, we launch the coin from it, and then hand you the key so you control the coins you bought. We show it once and delete it.

Is the organization involved?+

Usually not. Unless a page says it was claimed, the organization has not endorsed the coin. Organizations can claim their page or ask to be removed at any time.

Is buying a charity coin a donation?+

No. It's buying a speculative token. Only the trading fees are donated. Coins are not investments and Charitable doesn't give financial advice.
